Treatment areas

Ideal for mild to medium wrinkles as well as biorevitalizing treatments in the following areas:

• Forehead area/forehead wrinkles
• Corner of the mouth area
• Creases and marionette lines
• Mentolabial folds
• Nasolabial folds and perioral folds
• Glabellar wrinkles or frown lines
• Neck area
• Cleavage area
• Hands

The pack contains

• 1 syringe/injection of 2ml
• The concentration of the hyaluronic acid gel is 20mg/ml.

Application 

1 treatment once per month for 2-3 consecutive months, then 1 treatment every 3-4 months.

You can choose a protocol for each patient depending on the age and condition of the skin.

Do not use Ejal 40 if:

• Patients with a tendency to hypotrophic scars,
• Patients with a history of autoimmune diseases or receiving immunotherapy,
• Patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid,
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women,
• Patients under 18 years of age.

Treatment with Ejal 40 in patients receiving anticoagulants or
Antiplatelet drugs only after consulting your doctor.

Do not use Ejal 40 in areas with inflammatory processes or skin infections (e.g. acne, herpes, etc.). Do not use Ejal 40 in combination with laser therapy, chemical peeling or dermabrasion.

Precautions

Ejal 40 is suitable for intradermal injection. In the case of sensitive skin, it is possible to use anesthetic cream or plasters with a local anesthetic effect before the treatment. It is important to remember that anesthesia may cause redness or local tenderness. There are no clinical data (efficacy, tolerance) on injection of Ejal 40 into an area that has already been covered with another filler. Patients should be informed that they should not use cosmetic products for 12 hours after the injection. You should also avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV rays and frequent sauna or Turkish baths for one week after the injection. If the needle becomes clogged, do not increase the pressure on the plunger, but stop the injection and reinsert the needle. Do not inject into blood vessels. Do not inject into bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles. Ejal 40 should not be injected into nerves. After use, discard syringe and remaining product. Do not use if the package is damaged.

INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEANS

There is adverse interaction between sodium hyaluronate and quaternary ammonium compounds such as benzalkonium chloride solutions. One should avoid Ejal 40 contact with such substances or medical or surgical instruments that have been in contact with other substances.

UNDESIRABLE SIDE EFFECTS

Physicians should inform the patient that potential side effects and/or intolerances associated with injection of the product may occur immediately after treatment or later. They include (this list is not exhaustive):

• Inflammatory reactions (redness, swelling, erythema), accompanied by itching and pain when pressure is applied to the injection site; these reactions can last for a week.
• Calluses or nodules at the injection site, especially if the preparation is administered too superficially.
• Color change of the injection site.
• Insufficient effect if Ejal is injected incorrectly.

Patients should inform their doctor if inflammatory reactions occur. Patients should inform the doctor if inflammatory reactions or other adverse effects last longer than a week so that it is possible to act in the most appropriate manner.
