Jalupro Amino Acid

Jalupro is a solution that has been formulated using a combination of amino acids. Technically described as a 'skin biorevitaliser', it improves skin texture while reducing wrinkles.

The amino acids in Jalupro join forces with existing fibroblasts to help them counteract ageing. The more amino acids, the healthier the skin cells, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

Indications

JALUPRO is indicated for the correction of décolletions in the following facial regions:

• nasolabial furrows
• lip augmentation
• crow's feet
• wrinkles in the corners of the mouth
• acne scars
• fine lines
• forehead wrinkles
• cheekbone augmentation

The package contains

• 2 sterile bottles containing amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine)
• 2 sterile vials containing sodium hyaluronate (for mixing with amino acid solution)
• total: (2 x 30 mg, 3 ml and 2 x 100 mg amino acid solutions)

Contraindications

• Established hypersensitivity to product components.
• No known overdose phenomena.
• Interactions with drugs and other medical substances are not known
• Rarely, local hypersensitivity reactions may occur, manifested by a swelling, feeling of heat or itching
• These reactions resolve spontaneously in a very short time (maximum two days)
• Cases of infection, related to the way the procedure is performed, are very rare
• Although secondary effects are not known, in cases of pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is advisable to carry out the procedure only as prescribed by the doctor
• The implantation should not be carried out in the presence of skin irritation

Warnings

• Do not use the product if the packaging is open or damaged
• Sterile product, do not re-sterilise after expiry date
• Product may be injected intradermally, must not be injected intravenously
• Perform the procedure under aseptic conditions using appropriate techniques,
• Use each pair of vials (A+B) in a single treatment
• Do not reuse product restored to its initial state (vial A+vial B)
• Paste the sticker from the product packaging into the patient record
• Keep out of the reach of children
• Do not repeat treatment less than 3 days after previous treatment
• Do not use in areas previously treated with silicone
• Before treatment, inform patient of possible contraindications, side effects

Warnings to patients, prior to injection

• Reactions: all studies performed indicate a high level of tolerability of the product, however rare local reactions may occur
• Particularly in the case of the most delicate skin types, involving swelling and redness, usually resolving spontaneously without the need for any type of therapy
• Do not expose the treated area to heat until the swelling has subsided.
