MD-Knee Collagen 10x2ml – support for mobility and flexibility of the knee joint

MD-Knee Collagen is a preparation intended for periarticular and intra-articular injections, supporting the proper mobility of the knee joint. The product improves the range of motion, facilitates muscle stretching, and reduces discomfort associated with the movement of the legs and knees. It can be used as a standalone product or in combination with other preparations from the MD series, allowing the therapy to be tailored to the individual needs of the patient.

Active ingredients

• Tropocollagen – type I collagen supports connective tissues, promotes their regeneration, and improves elasticity
• Arnica montana – has a soothing effect on swelling and helps reduce discomfort
• Sodium chloride – isotonic solution that stabilizes the application environment

Directions for use

The protocol includes 1 treatment per week for 10 weeks.

Periarticular injection method:

• Injection depth: 2–4 mm
• Needle: sterile 27G
• Injection site: around the knee after aseptic preparation (gloves, iodine, alcohol, swabs, optionally ethyl chloride spray)

Intra-articular injection method:

• Needle: sterile 22G
• Injection depth: adjusted to enter the joint cavity
• Patient position: lying on the back, knee relaxed and extended
• Injection site: medial or lateral side of the patella, parallel to the posterior surface of the kneecap
• Local anesthesia is recommended

Indications

• Osteoarthritis of the knee joint (in combination with MD-POLY)
• Patellofemoral arthrosis
• Rheumatoid arthritis of the knee joint (in combination with MD-POLY)
• Acute and chronic synovial membrane inflammation
• Injuries of cruciate and collateral ligaments
• Post-traumatic meniscus changes (in combination with MD-MUSCLE)
• Preparation of the knee joint before meniscectomy
• Maintenance therapy after knee surgery (in combination with MD-MUSCLE and MD-NEURAL)
