Retinol or vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin involved in the formation and maintenance of epithelial cells and in the development, protection and regulation of the skin and mucous membranes.

It stimulates fibroblasts, inhibiting the breakdown of collagen, which intensifies neoangiogenesis of fibronectin.

Participates in the formation and maintenance of skin tissues and prevents the formation of free radicals.
