The PDO CARA COG NOSE thread is introduced using a blunt "L" cannula, which minimizes the risk of tissue or blood vessel damage, and thus reduces the risk of bruising, hematoma or intense swelling after the procedure.

An additional advantage of this cannula construction is extremely easy adjustment of the thread rotation direction.
