• Substances that accelerate the exfoliation of the stratum corneum, thereby brightening the skin and facilitating the action and penetration of active ingredients, including other whitening compounds

Indications

Composition

• Ascorbic acid: Skin brightening and antioxidant power. It works at various stages of melanogenesis, combining with copper ions (direct factors activating tyrosinase), inhibiting the oxidation of dopaquinone and DHICA (5-6 dihydroxyindole-2-carboxylic acid). Known for its antioxidant properties and stimulation of collagen synthesis, it is characterized by a high protection index against UVA and UVB rays.
• Kojic Acid: A safe and effective skin brightener. It inhibits one of the catalytic activities (catechol oxidase) of tyrosinase - the most important enzyme of the melanin synthesis pathway. Studies have confirmed its effectiveness in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, especially melasma.
• Phytic acid: Brightening - antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. It reduces the activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for the synthesis of melanin. It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties important for maintaining healthy skin.
• Sodium Pyruvate: Brightening and Antibacterial Agent. It is an alpha keto acid (AKA) with keratolytic, antibacterial and sebostatic properties. It also stimulates the synthesis of collagen fibers and elastin. Clinical studies have proven its effectiveness in the treatment of skin photodamage and melasma.
• Morus Alba (white mulberry): Antioxidant properties of white mulberry. White mulberry extract is an inhibitor of tyrosinase activity, inhibiting the conversion of DOPA to DOPAchrome in the process of melanogenesis (in vitro tests). Thanks to its high antioxidant potential, it inhibits free radicals, contributing to protection against autooxidation.
