Sofiderm Meso Filler is a viscoelastic gel with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (sterile, non-pyrogenic, colorless and non-animal origin).

It is able to effectively protect epidermal cells, prevent skin aging, hydrate the skin and make the skin more radiant, smooth and healthy.

Thanks to its remarkable fluidity and viscoelastic properties, hyaluronic acid distributes evenly throughout the skin tissue, keeping it hydrated and strengthening the dermis.

Indications

• Meso is designed for the dermis to revitalize radiance, hydrate the skin and improve skin tone.

Composition

• Citrate-buffered saline solution
• Sodium hyaluronate (1.5%)
• Without lidocaine

Dosage and instructions for use

• Meso should be injected superficially into selected areas using a multiple puncture/application technique.
• Punctures of 2 to 3 mm in diameter to a depth of approximately 2 mm.
• The volume to be injected depends on the size of the area to be treated
• Generally, 2 to 3 treatments are recommended at 3 to 4 week intervals, followed by a booster treatment every 2 to 3 months to maintain hydration.

The package contains

• Each package contains one meso ampoule syringe
• For each syringe, the package contains two sterile 30G 1/2 needles
• Two traceability labels

Storage conditions

• Store at 2 C-30°C, protect from sunlight.
• Do not freeze
• Do not use after expiry date

Precautions and contraindications

• The usual infection control precautions should be followed as with any other injection
• Prior to the procedure, a detailed consultation should take place between you and the patient. The discussion should include indications, expected results, possible side effects and complications, anesthesia instructions, and follow-up care.
• Do not administer in patients with hypersensitivity to product components.
• Do not administer in patients with a history of autoimmune disease or in patients receiving immunotherapy
• Do not use in patients with inflammation or irritation of treatment areas
• Do not inject intravascularly due to potential risk of vascular occlusion
• Do not use in patients with blood clotting disorders
• Do not use in patients taking thrombolytics or anticoagulants or who have taken antiplatelet agents in the past 2 weeks
• After injection, redness, swelling, hematoma, itching, and mild pain may occur at the injection site and usually resolve within 72 hours.
• Any adverse effects not described above must be reported to the treating physician and then to the manufacturer of the product as soon as possible.
• Special caution is advised for injections in the area of the eyes
• Not recommended for use in patients under 18 years of age
• Not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating women
• After use, syringes and needles should be handled as a potential biohazard. Disposal should be in accordance with accepted medical practice and applicable local, state and federal requirements.
• Patients should minimize exposure of the treated area to excessive sunlight, UV radiation, and extremely cold temperatures, at least until the initial swelling and redness has subsided.
• Do not use in combination with peel, laser or ultrasound treatments
