The formula of the preparation is based on a combination of 20% TCA trichloroacetic acid, kojic and mandelic acid.

It effectively eliminates the signs of skin aging by stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin fibers, additionally having a bacteriostatic effect, while reducing the visibility of possible discolorations and local hyperpigmentation.

The product is not photosensitizing, so it can be used as a year-round peeling.

Active ingredients of Venome TCA Lift

• Trichloroacetic acid TCA stimulates the cell renewal process of the epidermis, which is characterized by the breakdown of protein bonds between amino acids, leading to the loss of connections between cells, ultimately resulting in the exfoliation of the living part and the replacement of old structures with new keratinocytes. Additionally, the irritating effect of acid on keratinocytes allows them to release cytokines, which are mediators of inflammation, acting directly on fibroblasts, thereby stimulating them to increase the production of collagen and elastin fibers.
• Mandelic acid, which has a positive effect on reducing perifollicular keratosis, which is often the cause of inflammatory lesions. The product shrinks pores, eliminating excessive seborrhea and has antibacterial properties, thanks to its structure similar to antibiotics, which is why it is also recommended for problematic skin.
• Kojic acid in Venome TCA Lift peeling helps eliminate color disorders and pigmentation spots of various origins. Kojic acid is an effective inhibitor of the tyrosinase enzyme, which is one of the most important components in the process of melanogenesis, i.e. the formation of the pigment - melanin.

Venome TCA Lift protocol

1. Remove make-up thoroughly and clean the area to be treated (face, neck, cleavage or other body parts). It is recommended to use gloves to protect against the acidic reaction of the product and to protect the patient's mucous membranes, eyes and eye area, which must not come into contact with the product.
2. Draw 2-5 ml of the product into a syringe. The final amount may vary depending on the area being treated and the size of the skin lesion.
3. Apply a thin layer using gloves, massaging into the treated area until a sticky layer is obtained. Avoid mucous membranes and the eye area.
4. The recommended time to leave it on the skin is 4-6 minutes. The patient may feel tingling during the procedure. The length of time the product is left on the skin may vary depending on the skin type and the specific skin problem being treated. (4 min. – delicate and sensitive skin / 5 min. – normal skin with visible signs of aging or tendency to inflammation / 6 min. oily skin, mixed with severe skin wrinkles.)
5. After the treatment time has elapsed, wash off any remnants of the product with gauze dipped in water and thoroughly clean the treated skin area.
6. The skin may be slightly red, which will disappear within a few hours of the treatment
7. Additionally, zonal dryness may occur, which is related to the exfoliating effect of the acid.
8. SPF protection is recommended after treatment.

Time

• The treatment should be performed every 7-8 days in a series of 4-6 treatments according to the surgeon's recommendations and depending on the expected effect of the treatment.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in case of skin diseases and / or infections (dermatitis, herpes).
• Do not use if the patient is sensitive to one or more of the ingredients; it is recommended to test the product on a small area of the body (e.g. skin of the forearm, skin behind the ear) to see how the patient's skin reacts.
• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Side effects:

• Slight redness of the treated areas which disappears within 24-48 hours
• After using peeling, the skin may become drier
• Discontinue use in case of hypersensitivity or irritation.
