PolyPhil is a visco-surgical, apyrogenic, sterile, single-use polynucleotide gel intended for intradermal administration.

Polynucleotides are highly purified and resorbable substances of natural origin obtained from fish. They have moisturizing properties and provide a nourishing effect on fibroblasts, which helps improve skin elasticity, firmness and tone.

Indications

Thanks to its biochemical and viscoelastic properties and its hydrating and nourishing effect, PolyPhil is mainly indicated for improving skin firmness, elasticity and tightness.

These properties may also support the remodeling of areas with a strong fibrous component, such as stretch marks and scars, within treatment protocols proposed by the physician.

Composition

Each pre-filled syringe contains 2 ml of isotonic gel consisting of:

• Polynucleotides 20 mg/ml
• Water for injection
• Sodium chloride
• Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate
• Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate

Application

PolyPhil is administered using a fine needle (usually 30G), injecting the solution into the dermis.

Thanks to its versatility, PolyPhil can be used on any skin area: scalp, forehead, supraclavicular area, cheekbones, eye contour, face, neck, décolleté, abdomen, buttocks, thighs, etc.

Depending on clinical assessment, different injection techniques can be used, such as linear threading, microinjection, cross-linked mesh, or others.

PolyPhil may also be administered using modern non-invasive techniques (electroporation, hydroelectrophoresis, etc.).

Individual treatment programs are recommended depending on the patient's skin condition and needs.

Contraindications

PolyPhil is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the product or with a positive history of allergy to fish-derived products.

Due to lack of clinical data, treatment is not recommended in patients with autoimmune diseases, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or individuals under 18 years of age.

Precautions

• Not suitable for injections other than intradermal
• For single use only. Do not resterilize
• Dispose of the product according to medical waste regulations

Side Effects

The mechanical action of the needle may cause minor bruising.

In rare cases, injection-related reactions may occur such as swelling, redness, heat sensation or pain.

To speed up healing, an ice pack may be applied to the injection site.

Such reactions typically resolve within a few days. If symptoms persist, medical consultation is recommended.

The physician should ensure that patients report any adverse reactions following treatment.
