Indications

Medical device for chemical skin exfoliation, containing the exfoliating ingredient: salicylic acid.

Intended for patients over the age of 18 with oily and acne-prone skin for the prevention, treatment and relief of acne lesions. It reduces sebum secretion and pore visibility, also evens out skin tone.

It is recommended for phototypes I through IV, according to Fitzpatrick's classification. Your doctor will evaluate the applicability of the peel on phototypes V and VI.

Composition

Main ingredients: salicylic acid pH 2.

Other ingredients: ethanol, propylene glycol, PEG 400, glycerin, water, coffee acid, retinal, szikimic acid, arginine, xanthophylls, zinc chloride, glucosyl hesperidin.

Directions for use

Before the procedure, the patient should be asked to remove their lenses and to close their eyes during the procedure.

The skin must be monitored from the beginning of application until the product is washed off.

Treatment cycle

It is recommended to perform 3 to 5 treatments, 15 days apart.

After treatment, avoid:

Swimming pools, exposure to natural or artificial light and direct heat sources for up to 48 hours,
Depilation and laser treatments for a minimum of 15 days.
Possible side effects

The following side effects may occur as a result of chemical peeling of the skin: short-term erythema, prolonged erythema (more than 72 hours), peeling, minor swelling, scabs, texture changes and hypertrophic scarring.

In exceptional cases: post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation; In very exceptional cases: hypopigmentation.

NOTE: Patients should report all types of side effects, both serious and mild, as well as those listed in this leaflet, and the physician, in addition to administering the appropriate treatment and assigning medication, is obliged to inform the manufacturer (mesoestetic Pharma Group, S.L) of the occurrence of such side effects.

Mesopeel MD blemiskin is a product intended only for use by doctors specializing in plastic surgery, specialists in dermatology and venereology, and medical graduates with training in cosmetology.

• Keep out of the reach of children,
• It is the doctor's responsibility to confirm the appropriateness of using Mesopeel MD blemiskin before starting the procedure: immunological or allergic conditions of the patient and a topical examination confirming that the procedure is beneficial to the patient.
• The product may change color during the storage period, which does not affect its safety and effectiveness.

Contraindications

Do not use Mesopeel MD Blemiskin if:

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding,
• Radiation therapy,
• Recent surgery,
• Herpes on the face,
• Micropigmentation,
• Patients with an unstable psychological profile.
