Indications

Medical product for chemical exfoliation of the skin, made from a combination of exfoliating active ingredients: Lactic acid, glycolic acid and lactobionic acid.

Intended for patients over 18 years of age for the prevention, treatment and relief of mild hyperpigmentation such as mild lentigines, sun spots and uneven skin tone.

It is also recommended for general skin aging from Grade II (uneven skin tone, fine facial lines and superficial wrinkles) to Grade III on the Glogau Scale (moderate photoaging, medium-deep wrinkles, loss of firmness, enlarged pores, sallow skin).

It is recommended for phototypes I to IV according to the Fitzpatrick classification. The applicability of the peeling for phototypes V and VI is assessed by the doctor.

Ingredients

Main ingredients: Lactic acid, glycolic acid and lactobionic acid - pH 1.5.

Other ingredients: Water, polysorbate 20, ethanol, deanol bicinate, C 12-15 alkyllactate, ascorbic acid, glycerin, retinol, ferulic acid, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid, bacuchiol, shikimic acid, aminobutyric acid, butylhyroxytoluene, retinal, butylhydroxyanisole, arginine, caffeic acid, xanthophylls.

Application

Before treatment, the patient should be asked to remove their contact lenses and close their eyes during treatment.

The skin must be monitored from the start of application until neutralization.

Treatment cycle

It is recommended to perform 3 to 5 treatments at 15-day intervals.

Carry out a refresher treatment every 6 months.

After the treatment you should avoid the following

• Swimming pools, natural or artificial light and direct heat sources for up to 48 hours,
• Depilation and laser treatments for at least 15 days.

Possible side effects

The following side effects may occur as a result of chemical peeling of the skin: short-term erythema, prolonged erythema (more than 72 hours), desquamation, slight swelling, scabs, texture changes and hypertrophic scarring.

In exceptional cases: post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation; in very rare cases: Hypopigmentation.

NOTE: Patients should report all types of adverse reactions, both serious and mild, as well as those listed in this leaflet, and the doctor is obliged to inform the manufacturer (mesoestetic Pharma Group, S.L) of the occurrence of such adverse reactions, in addition to administering the appropriate treatment and prescribing medication.

Precautions

Mesopeel MD retiflash is a product that may only be used by specialists in plastic surgery, specialists in dermatology and venereology and qualified medical practitioners with a degree in cosmetology.

It is the responsibility of the physician to confirm the suitability of the use of Mesopeel MD retiflash before starting treatment: immunological or allergic conditions of the patient and a local examination confirming that the treatment is beneficial to the patient.

The product may change color during the storage period, but this does not affect its safety or efficacy.

Contraindications

Mesopeel MD retiflash must not be used in the following cases

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding,
• Radiotherapy,
• Recently performed operations,
• Herpes on the face,
• Micropigmentation,
• Patients with an unstable psychological profile.
